Yes, I have been reading about WordPress from all those great Practical Ecommerce articles and just felt I had to start posting here.
Real Estate is my life and passion. I practice real estate in Sarasota Florida and am grateful to live in such a wonderful place. Architecture, green building and now mix-use are landscaping the environment. It makes for such a rich selection of real estate. I grew up in a town near Pittsburgh called McKeesport. I visioned early on that I would like to own and invest in real estate. However, McKeesport was going straight to hell on the concord due to the 80’s recession. I saw many properties with potential to become lofts, mix-use projects and readaptive use but it was all over for the local economy. So in the winter of 1994, I packed up the truck with my brother and move to Pompano Beach.
Ahhh, Floridaaaaaaa! What a fresh beginning I enjoying. But what was to come out of my move would be an immediate lesson in life.
Little niave McKeesport boy moves to the sunshine state where skies are blue and the sun shines practically every day and I couldn’t quite figure out why the local mentally of South Florida was mostly rude and uncompassionate. Well, eventually I figured it out. It was New York with palm trees. (no offense New Yorkers, its just the way it is) Hustle and bustly lifestyle of the Northeast infected the personality of the area like a virus. I soon realizied that I too became a product of the surroundings. A trip to Sarasota Siesta Key and Casey Key changed my outlook and I never looked back. I was living in Sarasota within 2 months of my visit. So call me a Floridian please because my heart and soul are embedded in Florida forever.
