Interesting point on a recent sale regarding a condo conversion. The developer’s onsite approved lender for financing states that a home inspection was done and that the buyer wouldn’t need to do a home inspection on their unit. However, not on the unit itself, but the overall condo project was inspected and approved. Be careful not to accept this “overall” inspection when purchasing. Always get a professional home inspection done. Another reason to make sure you have a Realtor in your corner when buying or selling real estate.
